This gathering at Lough Derg brings together communities, heritage practitioners, local knowledge holders and others connected to the Shannon to explore the relationship between river rights, cultural heritage and place.

Farmers have generations of knowledge and experience caring for the land and water. This gathering is an opportunity to listen to farmers across the Shannon Basin, recognise the work already being done, and explore how we can work together for a healthier river.
